The two-day training programme on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability is part of Sambodhi’s endeavour to enhance understanding of research in general and data analysis in particular among practitioners and scholars.

Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR, sometimes also referred as corporate conscience, corporate citizenship, social performance, sustainable business, or responsible business is increasingly gaining importance in the emerging business discourse. CSR policies are envisaged as built-in, self-regulating mechanism whereby a business monitors and ensures its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms. The goal of CSR is to embrace responsibility for the companys actions and encourage a positive impact on stakeholders playing a key role in sustainable development. Reporting of corporate contribution towards sustainable development is therefore necessary. The training programme aims to develop and enhance competencies of practitioners to effectively deliver the new mandate of business.
This programme is being offered by Sambodhi Research & Communications Pvt. Ltd. , a leading development advisory and research organization. We are a knowledge ware company offering support services on project management, monitoring and evaluation and allied areas. Sambodhi’s clients, collaborators and partners include reputed international organizations including the World Bank, UN agencies, government and non-government bodies, corporate philanthropic foundations, academic institutions and companies.
In consonance with the programme design, the overarching training method is based on the principles of participatory adult learning that would build upon the experiential learning of participants. The programme pedagogy focuses on interactive group learning and aims both at knowledge development and skill upgradation through peer learning. Reading and resource material developed by leading subject experts augments classroom experience. Training being a mutual learning process, the programme is built on the premise "I hear, I forget; I see, I remember; I do, I understand."

Foreign Participants: USD 400 per participant
